BLUE WATER PHENOMENON: THE BEST TIME OF THE YEAR TO VISIT TIFFANY'S CANYON

For all of you that have visited Tiffany's Canyon before or planning to visit the place. This is the best time of year! Every year in October/November the water turns blue for about 3 weeks as you can see in the pictures. It is truly an amazing site. The change of colour to the water is caused by a reaction with the algae and lime at the hottest time of the year, which actually purifies the water, creating a natural wonder and a beautiful sky blue colour to the water.

Tiffany's Canyon Lodge is set in a beautiful and quiet environment overlooking stunning blue waters. The lodge provides quality affordable accommodation, with a restaurant serving good food and a fully stocked bar. Things to do include a variety of water-based activities as well as bird-watching, with many different bird species in the area. The conference centre has the capacity to cater for a variety of different functions including weddings. Tiffany's is located just 20 km south of Lusaka.

Tiffanys Canyon is open from 8AM - 6PM, EVERYDAY of the Week.

- How much is entrance?
Kids (Age 5-13): k50
Adults: K100
Once entrance is paid, guests are free to swim. We have two pools, which includes a kids pool.

- Is there a corkage fee?
No, Tiffanys do not charge a corkage for food and drinks that are brought in from outside, however when we have 'special events', food from outside is not permitted. We also have braii stands available.

- Where is Tiffanys Canyon located?
Off Kafue Road, 22km from Makeni Mall, close to the toll gate.
