Amazon's Mahatma Gandhi's Flip Flops Prompt Anger.

Flip flops bearing the face of India's most celebrated and revered independence icon Mahatma Gandhi for sale on Amazon, triggered fresh outrage on Sunday 15 January 2017 days after the retailing giant was forced to stop selling the Indian flag doormat.

On Wednesday January 12, India demanded Amazon apologise for selling what the termed "insulting" doormats featuring India's national flag, with Sushna Swaraj, Indian Foreign Minister warning of stern action against the company.
