Top Zambian Designer, Faith Kabende of Fay Designz
FAITH MULENGA KABENDE is an established Zambian Designer who was born in Luanshya and completed her education in 1995. She went to Evelyn Hone College to study Marketing. On completion she worked for Zambia Telecommunication (ZAMTEL ) for four years then decided to stop and start her own fashion design business.
Faith has showcased her designs at Zambia Fashion week, when Face of Africa was launched in Zambia, showcased in South Africa, Malaysia, Algeria and most recently in Paris at the Africa World Fashion launch.
She has dressed many Zambian celebrities, Ministers and the Zambian First Lady. Fay Designs deals in a wide selection of fashion lines. The company does unique afrocentric as well western outfits. The outfits are creatively designed by the company’s sole designer and professionally made by the able and qualified tailors.
In the seven years that she has been in operation she has made outfits for a vast number of people from across the country including many Zambian celebrities, Ministers and the Zambian First Lady to mention but a few
