Banda Bolsters Maccabi Bnei Reineh Midfield

Emmanuel Banda, a 27-year-old Zambian international, has officially joined Maccabi Bnei Reineh, an Israeli Premier League club. This move marks Banda's return to Europe after his stint with Al-Tai SC in Saudi Arabia. Maccabi Bnei Reineh, based in Reineh, has been making waves in the Israeli Premier League since their promotion in 2022.

The club, founded in 2000 and refounded in 2016 by local businessman Saeed Basul, has shown significant growth, including consecutive league promotions that led to their current top-flight status. They currently play their home matches at the Green Stadium in Nof HaGalil, with a capacity of 4,000. Banda's addition to the team could prove valuable, given his experience playing in different leagues.

Maccabi Bnei Reineh's recent performances have been mixed, with a win against Hapoel Jerusalem and a loss to Maccabi Petach Tikva in their last few matches. With Banda on board, they'll look to improve their standings in the Israeli Premier League.

Their upcoming match against Maccabi Haifa on August 23, 2025, will be a crucial test for the team.
